Cutting at waist height, with the sawhorse as a protective barrier, greatly minimises the risk of lower leg and foot injury, and unlike other sawhorses you don't have to hold the timber while cutting - having both hands behind the chainsaw completely removes the serious risk of hand injury. The timber is held safely in the sawhorse during cutting by the securing cord, and the shape of the cups is designed to make the cut logs roll down to the bottom of the cups rather than flying out.
The cups have a tipping mechanism, so you can transfer your cut logs straight into your container (e.g. wheelbarrow, log bags, trailer).
